The Role:

As the Manager, Project Management Office at CLBC, you will be responsible for building out and operating the Project Management Office (PMO) and the Change Management Office (CMO).

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that the PMO fulfills its mandate within the organization 
  • Ensures continuous improvement of processes and tools
  • Supports and facilitates the project approval process
  • Coaches and supports Sponsors and Project Managers/Change Manangers in the initiation, planning, execution and closure/reinforcement stages of projects
  • Provides project management services to major projects
  • Supports and facilitates the Project Impact Management process
  • Continually develops, implements, evaluates and improves processes and tools to assure effective and efficient operations

This position requires an ability to:

  • Use a structured approach
  • Engage with clients to determine needs and manage expectations
  • Develop and conduct effective presentations
  • Provide expertise in technical areas
  • Communicate with individuals across all levels of the organization to build coalitions for change and resolve conflicts with confidence, tact, and diplomacy
  • Lead and manage small to large sized project teams and provide effective coaching to team members.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Facilitate the prioritization of and manage the dependencies in a project portfolio


  • Bachelors' degree in a related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a project management capacity with exposure to both waterfall and agile project approaches
  • PMP or similar project management certification required
  • PROSCI or similar Change Management certification required
  • Deep theoretical Project Management & Change Management (people side of change) knowledge and ability to apply in complex organizations
  • Working knowledge in Business Process (Re-)Design


Occasional overnight travel. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of CLBC. Use of own vehicle on expenses.  Possession of a Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract is required.
