The Role:

As a People Services Administrator you will be responsible for coordinating the day to day operations and administrative duties of the People Services Department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing of new hire documentation
  • Job application management
  • Interview scheduling
  • Tracking of various HR related documents, preparation and formatting
  • Processing invoices
  • Providing support to the HRIS & Benefits Specialist

This is the role for you if you:

  • are able to clearly communicate to a wide range of individuals
  • have excellent attention to detail
  • have strong organizational and time management skills
  • are able to manage several concurrent tasks
  • have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

  • Grade twelve diploma or equivalent education 
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience providing administrative support, preferably in supporting human resources initiatives.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access)
  • Strong MS Word and MS Excel skills  
  • Minimum 50 WPM typing skills

Additional Info:

This is an auxiliary position.  Please note: auxiliaries may cover vacancies or maternity, vacation, sick, or long-term leaves of varying lengths.
Term/Status: Temporary (Two to Three days per week).
Eligibility: Open to internal and external applicants

Classification/Salary: Clerk R11 - Starts at $23.82 per hour


Location: Vancouver, Head Office
